I had 1:1 photography mentoring with Maja and it was priceless. I received valuable feedback on my portfolio and tips on how to improve it. Maja pointed out my weaknesses in photography and we worked on it during our meetings. She didn't waste time on anything that wasn't important to me. Sessions were focused on what I actually needed the most. Maja is brilliant at explaining everything and showing how to use it in practice (even on online lessons).
In addition, I received saved videos from our sessions, so I can go back to them whenever I want to.
I’ve got much more than I was expecting, not only photography mentoring but also instagram feedback, advice on how to make it more professional, links to best food photography props and backdrops, how to protect my images on social media, etc.

I approached Maja with the aim of improving my post production skills on my food images. Vanuit het werk mocht ik bij Maja een aantal lessen volgen, betreft voedselfotografie. Ik kwam eigenlijk echt als een 'groentje' binnen. Ik wist nauwelijks iets van fotografie maar na de lessen was het voor mij allemaal een stuk duidelijker! Ze heeft tijdens de lessen een goede verhouding tussen theorie en praktijk. Aan het begin van de lessen heeft ze een duidelijke PowerPoint presentatie. Vervolgens gingen we iedere les praktisch aan de slag. Daarnaast geeft ze goede en handige tips, betreft voedselfotografie. Ik heb bij Maja een 1 op 1 Lightroom mentoring gevolgd. Dit was ontzettend leerzaam! Maja nam heel erg goed de tijd om alles uit te leggen en maakte alles ontzettend duidelijk. Wat het zo leerzaam maakte, is dat Maja de sessie goed had voorbereid en zich had verdiept in de punten waar ik tegen aanliep, waardoor we in het uur heel veel hebben kunnen behandelen. I was excited to participate in Maja’s Lightroom Mentoring session and was impressed how organized and structured Maja was. She sent a questionnaire through a few days before the session to identify where I needed most help. Maja was thorough in her explanations, and it was useful to see her demonstrating how she would edit a photo. I appreciated that Maja reviewed my photography portfolio and gave me honest feedback. Maja answered all my questions in detail, and I felt at ease with her. The session was worth it because I am much more comfortable using Lightroom and it helped a lot in my overall learning process of editing photos. I had the absolute pleasure of a one on one mentoring session with Maja. A few days before the session she sent a questionnaire to determine where I was at with my editing knowledge, so that our time together would be well spent and beneficial. From the minute the session began she put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable and able to ask questions at any time. Mentoring session with Maja was not only nice, but most of all it taught me a lot in such a short time. Although I use Lightroom on a daily basis, I learned a lot of new things, and I looked at LrC tools and my editing in a different way. Maja prepared the session very carefully - the detailed questionnaire that I received before the session allowed me to outline all the problems that I wanted to work on, which Maja discussed with me in detail during the session. In addition, she reviewed my photography portfolio thoroughly to learn about my difficulties and help me look at my photos in a new way.
I can't stress enough how valuable and enriching this lesson was! Maja is extremely nice, helpful, a committed trainer and a real professional in Lightroom post production and photography.
